Occasionally, a business name modification is also in order. Walmart dropped the dash from the middle of its name to match its growing online presence. Kentucky Fried Chicken changed to KFC to de-emphasize fried food in a health conscience market. Tesla dropped “Motors” from its name as it expanded into, well just about everything including space travel.
